Parents and Carers

This group has been such a positive experience for and influence on my son. Finally an option for the young teen who is more nerd than jock to get out and socialise, learning life skills of teamwork and communication while having fun and making friends.
He has found his tribe.

Unique service that has done wonders for my ASD boys. They love going each week and don’t think of it as therapy at all. Has helped their confidence, communication skills and ability to collaborate with others.

Outstanding group. Very engaging. Excellent support and client engagement. One of the best groups we have come across who actually work to get to know the kids involved. Our son doesn’t realize what he’s doing is therapeutic – he wants to go and meet people and improve his social skills through D4D. Can’t recommend enough!

My son is 10, and loves going to Dice 4 Diversity every week. Ian is amazing he has so much patience for the kids and it’s also great for the social side of things taking turns and interacting with other kids around their age. The gaming space/rooms are very inviting and feel safe and also has a nice waiting room for the parents if they want to stay.
Well done Ian and family for all your hard work.❤️

Roll play gaming has been an excellent and fun way to work on social skills without it being a chore. Kids look forward to attending and connecting with others in the group.

My son has a complex array of mental health diagnoses and Dice 4 Diversity has been the perfect environment for him to build his social skills and social management strategies. The team are super supportive, and manage to get these all important social tools and strategies across in a fun and engaging way. I highly recommend them.

Dice 4 diversity has been amazing for my 9 year old son. Starting during lockdown last year was a bit challenging but Ian was so wonderful and encouraging. My son has loved the holiday program and can’t wait to start his new campaign. The benefits of this program are outstanding. He is learning social skills, problem solving, how to read other people and situations as well as how to cope when things don’t always go the way you want. My son loves to tell everyone how the adventure is going and what his character has gotten up to this week. Dice 4 Diversity has given him the opportunity to make new friends in a safe and inclusive environment. Can’t recommend Ian and his team enough.

This is the first and only activity that my son has wanted to come back to, and been disappointed when told it is only once a week. The environment is welcoming and understanding, the games structured in a way that engages, and hes learning more social skills in this social environment than he has with any other professional. Can’t recommend it enough.

Dice for Diversity is a great group.
I would recommend it to anyone with neurodiverse or suspected neurodiverse children.
My son (with a diagnosis) loves his sessions. I love the passive social and communication practice it gives him.
My daughter (no diagnosis with definite traits) also goes to sessions. She loves it.
Ian who runs D4D, is patient and kind. I’m so glad it exists and that my kids get to enjoy other kids and the love of role-playing games.
