Dice 4 Diversity Gaming – More than Table Top Gaming

Supported game sessions for neurodiverse individuals.
Learn social skills and make like-minded friends at the same time.

Social Inclusion through role-play

Roleplaying games (including our first love and favourite – Dungeons and Dragons) provide the ultimate opportunity to learn social and life skills in a safe and supported environment.

Adopting the persona of a character in a fantasy world, we get you working in a team to overcome imaginary adversities while practicing social & life skills without even realising it.

This group has been such a positive experience for and influence on my son. Finally an option for the young teen who is more nerd than jock to get out and socialise, learning life skills of teamwork and communication while having fun and making friends.

He has found his tribe.

You may like to join us and play weekly, after school, in the evenings, or over school holidays. You can choose between 1, 2 or 3-hour sessions, or join us for a marathon of your favourite game.

Joining is easy!

Explore our programs and session times; then contact us with your preferred options and we will be in touch.

We consider the needs of each individual adventurer when creating groups and like to learn more about you and your adventurer before assigning teams to set each group up for success.

We look forward to connecting with you.

Outstanding group. Very engaging. Excellent support and client engagement. One of the best groups we have come across who actually work to get to know the kids involved. Our son doesn’t realize what he’s doing is therapeutic – he wants to go and meet people and improve his social skills through D4D. Can’t recommend enough!

A little about Dice 4 Diversity Gaming

Founder & Head Dungeon Master Ian has spent more than 14 years advocating for his own children through neurodiversity and disability, as well as supporting other families with specific support needs.

Dice 4 Diversity Gaming is the safe, supportive and judgement-free space he wishes was available for his children and family and the idea for Dice 4 Diversity Gaming came from his own love of role-playing games and the incidental and life-changing growth he observed in his own children when playing role play games with them.

Ian would love to expand into every corner of the bureaucratic health system. But, for now these sessions are on offer at the Adventure Dome in Jamison, Canberra.

At Dice 4 Diversity Gaming, you are welcome and supported on your most challenging day exactly as you are. We are here for you.

My son is 10, and loves going to Dice 4 Diversity every week. Ian is amazing he has so much patience for the kids and it’s also great for the social side of things taking turns and interacting with other kids around their age. The gaming space/rooms are very inviting and feel safe and also has a nice waiting room for the parents if they want to stay.
Well done Ian and family for all your hard work.❤️
